报告摘要:In the presentation he will first introduce the Water Innovation and Research Centre at Bath, the research we do, who is involved etc. Then he will focus on the actual topic of the title and discuss my work on stochastic modelling of sewer flow and water quality. The stochastic models are used to accurately predict the water discharge in sewer catchment areas, based on how people use water at their homes. With this we can predict the effects of water flow and waste transport under specific scenarios of water savings. We also can predict temperatures of sewage and quantify the possibilities for thermal energy recovery.
