报告摘要:Continuous symmetries are essential for the solvability and integrability of differential equations. In this talk, a fundamental introduction to symmetry methods for differential equations and their extensions to nonlocal differential equations will be given, in particular similarity reductions for the nonlocal mKdV equation and nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Furthermore, local transformations are defined to connect nonlocal differential equations with differential-difference equations, allowing one to analyze nonlocal equations through the existing geometric and algebraic theories for differential-difference equations.
