摘 要:Constitutive equations connect all macroscopic phenomenological variables describing the behavior of the continuum (Krawietz, 1986). In contrast to the balance equations (based on some principles) or the kinematical relations (based on some mathematical considerations), the constitutive equations are individual for each material. They are also important for solving boundary-initial-value problems since they close the gap between the number of equations and the number of unknowns.
There are three approaches in formulation constitutive equations:
1. The inductive approach: from the simplest to more complex models,
2. The deductive approach: from a general frame to more speci?c cases, and
3. The rheological modeling: combination of both approaches.
In the presentation, these approaches will be discussed and compared. Finally, examples from the engineering practice is presented.

摘 要:This talk presents a survey of basic issue and recent results in Eulerian formulations of large elastoplastic deformation behaviors. Emphasis is placed on definitions of finite strain measures and objective time rates and, in particular, on the discovery of the corotational logarithmic rate as well as its far-reaching role in self-consistent Eulerian constitutive formulations of large elastoplastic deformations.
