报告摘要(Abstract):
The photovoltaic (PV) market has seen a year-on-year growth of ?30% since 2010, culminating at the end of 2018 in an estimated worldwide installed photovoltaic capacity of ?500 GW. Despite such impressive growth, this capacity fulfills only about 1.5% of the current global electricity demand. Crystalline silicon, with a current share of 95% of the PV market, is forecast to remain the dominant PV technology for the coming decades. The ongoing success of the c-Si PV industry is predicated on the sustained increase in cell and module efficiency coupled with a continuing decline in production costs, simple & innovative solar cell designs that exceed these empirical limits are vital for the continued advancement of c-Si PV. In this presentation, we will present the advanced passivating contact technology and laser processing for next-generation silicon solar cells, featuring a higher efficiency, simpler fabrication flow and lower cost. The recent progress in the development of high efficiency perovskite thin film and perovskite/c-Si tandem solar cells is presented together, and the challenges for the further commercialization is discussed. Finally, the R&D roadmap for future PV production is discussed.
