报告摘要(Abstract):
Spin-orbit coupling in ultra cold gases allows to examine this phenomenon in highly configurable situations. Just ask 张永平教授 how cool it is. Here we will present work that considers two interacting bosons with synthetic spin-orbit coupling in one dimension. The two bosons are described by two identical atoms with different hyperfine states, and can therefore be regarded as a two-level system with a pseudo-spin. The system is tractable since it is solvable exactly for some sets of parameters and allows to study what happens without any approximations. Here we will discuss the static properties of the system such as the ground state and the energy spectrum and also present results describing quench dynamics when a single parameter suddenly changed. Our particular interest are the non-classical properties that this system displays.
